Milo

 My all time favourite drink. Whoever invented this, 真神啊. There are so many milo products in the market now, only a few of them made it to my approval list. You see I have been drinking so much milo, that my craving for it is of very high standard. Ordinary milo drink doesn't appeal to me anymore, ordinary means those Ice Milo or Hot Milo that can be bought in coffee shop or food centre, When I drink those, it is too thin and tasteless. Even if I ask for Milo 厚，still the same. Reason being they all use the cheap milo made in singapore. You have to drink the one with Australian Recipe. It is much thicker and taste a lot better then the singapore recipe, except more pricer. I remember some coffee shop dare to use coco powder to pass off as milo, thinking the customer cannot differentiate it.

Australian Recipe

Nobody will use the Australian Recipe outside because of the higher costing, so I seldom want to drink Milo outside anymore, don't want to be disappointed by the thin taste everywhere. I switched to Ice Coffee outside.... but most shop serve very terrrible coffee too. At home, I will eat the Australian recipe milo powder, 1 teaspoon, then follow by a sip of cold milk. This give me very thick milo taste in my mouth which I like. I never bother to make the powder into a drink.

Another great product is the Milo Nuggets , is like the Australian recipe being sold in a solid form instead of powder.  Simply got to love this.

Milo Bar

There are 2 items which is new and I don't like it at all. Easy Cool Milo 3 in 1 mix, tasteless and I couldn't get the milo to melt in the cold water at all, did I do something wrong? Milo Bar, too sweet and feels like eating Snickers bar, expensive too.

Lastly I would like to mention the Milo Choco Bar, this is not commonly sold in singapore, you can only find it in mama shop or buzz, not NTUC or Cold Storage. This Choco Bar is simply amazing. About same taste as the milo nuggets, if you happen to see it, try it. Too bad they only sold this size in singapore, I have seen and bought a lot from Bangkok, which is twice the size of this.

Oops I forgot to mention about the legendary Milo Dinosaur, I guess this can satisfy my crave when I am outside, mostly available from malay or indian coffee shop. You know what is a Milo Dinosaur right?

New Tim Tam

Have always been eating Tim Tam for many years, today I saw 2 new flavours, bought it immediately. But these are dark chocolate, will be a bit bitter.

Tim Tam Dark Chocolate Mint

Tim Tam Dark Chocolate Rum & Raisin

Yet to eat them as I just bought it, I more keen on the Rum & Raisin as I also like the Rum and Raisin Ice-Cream. As for the Mint, probably just some cooling minty effect. Maybe it is time to try the mint one with a drink, been hearing people talking about how to properly enjoy tim tam, as per wiki, it quote "Opposite corners of the Tim Tam are bitten off, one end is submerged in the drink, and the drink sucked through the biscuit. The crisp inside biscuit is softened and the outer chocolate coating begins to melt." Basically, you use the biscuit as a ‘straw’ for hot coffee, tea or milk. The biscuit totally disintegrates into a delicious, oozy, sloppy mess. I always keep my Tim Tam in the fridge else will melt.

On top of these 2 new flavours, they have many others too. Like the recent Chewy Caramel, Black Forest and Tim Tam White.

I also like the Lemon Crisp, much much better then those I have ever eaten. If not because these are so sweet and heaty..... I would have eaten more. I introduce them to my nieces and they love it so much, but they ate so differently from me, I put a whole piece into mouth, they slowly bite and bite until it melt in the hand still not finish....I don't like to dirty my hands. But that is their way of enjoying a nice biscuit.
